In 1950 in the home of Bro. & Mrs. G.A. Lanham, Bible Baptist Church began. Under the spiritual guidance of Pastor George Ziemer and with the support of 28 devoted members, the foundation was laid for a faith community destined to thrive. Just a year later, the church's determination led to the purchase of land, marking the beginning of an era.

By 1954, one of South Florida’s premier K-12 Christian Schools was established. The growth didn't stop there; in 1956, a 1200-seat Sanctuary was dedicated, serving as a beacon for the Gospel's spread. Under the stewardship of Pastor Chuck Ramsey, the church embraced a new identity as Miami Baptist Temple in 1968, signifying a broader mission and outreach.

The 70s brought change with a move to Pembroke Pines, adapting to Pines Baptist Temple to reflect its vibrant new mission field. The congregation made its first Pembroke Pines home in a storefront on Pines Blvd, but by 1995, God's provision allowed for the establishment of a new, debt-free location, dedicated to the glory of Jesus Christ in 1998.

The turn of the millennium saw a return to roots with the reinstatement of the church's original name—Bible Baptist Church. This era was marked by a profound commitment to missions, significantly expanded under Pastor J. Mark Brown in 2010. The church's missionary support soared, touching nearly fifty missions worldwide.

 

In 2014, Dane Keely became the new pastor. Bible Baptist Church has assisted church plants, encouraged ministry leaders, advanced its missionary presence around the world, celebrating the goodness of God
