Dane & Joy Keely
Senior Pastor
Pastor Keely, originally from St. Charles, Missouri, was educated in the state's parochial schools. His spiritual journey took a pivotal turn on January 22, 1984, when at the age of twenty, he committed his life to Christ. This deep faith fueled his passion to lead others to Jesus and foster their spiritual growth.

At thirty, feeling called to ministry, Pastor Keely pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Theology at Crown College of the Bible in Knoxville, Tennessee, under Dr. Clarence Sexton, graduating in 1997. He furthered his education with a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from West Coast Baptist College in California, mentored by Dr. Paul Chappell. His career has spanned roles as associate pastor, Christian school administrator, and pastor.

In fall 2014, Pastor Keely was unanimously called to lead Bible Baptist Church, which has been a spiritual beacon in South Florida for over seventy-four years. His leadership is characterized by a deep love for his culturally diverse congregation and a commitment to the Great Commission.

Pastor Keely and his wife, Joy, married in 1985, have four daughters who are actively involved in ministry and are raising ten grandchildren in the faith.
Sothea & Veronica Soy
Assistant Pastor
Sothea was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. While Sothea was in high school, his parents received Christ as Savior as a result of soul winners knocking on their door and inviting people to their Easter service.
Sothea’s dad encouraged him to go to Bible college, although they knew little about it. During Sothea’s sophomore year at West Coast Baptist College, he accepted Christ as Savior and committed to serving the Lord with his life. He also met his wife, Veronica, while attending Bible college.
Sothea graduated with his bachelors in pastoral theology and his passion is to work with the teens and young adults. He taught for 12 years at Liberty Baptist Academy in Fort Pierce, FL. He also had the opportunity to help start the Martin County Baptist Church in Jensen Beach, FL, where he served for 10 years. In August of 2025, the Lord opened doors and moved hearts to allow Sothea and his family to move to Bible Baptist Church. He is “living his dream” of serving the Lord in a full time capacity under the mentorship of Pastor Dane Keely.
Sothea and Veronica have 2 daughters, and they love serving the Lord together.
